I took the 80's for granted. Well I was young and dumb. Didn't really know how good we had it, until you listen to modern music. Ugh.
It was soo carefree back then. Positive also. Damn, I'm bumming myself out right now.

Anthony Giaquinto:
Im 47. I crank Phil in the garage or outside if Im working in the yard. I have some younger friends who tease me. I tell them, you missed out. The 80's was the best decade for music.

80s was such a nice and warm decade (im not talking about temperatures). It seems like it was so relaxed those days and everbody had fun. Today feels like a cold world, regulations and rules everywhere, don't even want to turn on the TV. Seemed like much more simpler times those days. Today seems like you are measured by what you have and not by how you are.

Archie Bunker:
You Sir are amazing. You never be forgotten. Thank you for the music.

ah Yes, 1986...a year when many things changed for me. I was 20 years old and had my whole life ahead of me. So many ambitions and goals, some I accomplished, some I fell well short of. However, this song does exactly what the name of the song says. Tt Takes Me Home and now I do REMEMBER exactly how I felt in 1986.............Thank you so much Phil for the ride!

Great song. I love that he named his current tour “I’m not dead yet”. Prolly because of all the greats we’ve lost recently and also because people probably forget he’s alive since he doesn’t get the recognition or playtime other artists get on classic rock radio stations.
